work that

according to last.fm, "Heralds of Change is the combined name for Mike Slott and Hudson Mohawke’s fresh hip hop projects. So far they have put out 5 twelves featuring the likes of Olivier DaySOUL, Oddisee, Trek Life and Unknown and largely brought the beat game back to the UK on a sea of good press. Their remix output includes Maspyke’s tableek, Wordsworth and Craig G.Their first album is now in production for All City Records featuring some more stellar"

Two 12" released simultaneously on All City Records this month. While Secrets is more on the experimental hiphop side, Puzzles is listed under downtempo and includes the track "work that".

When I first heard that track, I had my studio headphones on full power and the track sent me on a few minute trip of throwing my hands around and bouncing on my chair.

Roberto Cuoghi: Šuillakku

if you haven't been yet, head down to the ICA to see this sound installation. The combination of different sounds that comes from all the different corners of the room is immense and is something that I'd describe as a beautifully synchronized randomness.

Roberto's sound installation was inspired by Mesopotamia "in the seventh century BC, when the Assyrian empire was falling into ruin and the city of Ninevah (the site of which is in modern-day Iraq) was ransacked by its enemies."

here's some audio for the people who cant make it to London
audio borrowed from the ICA website

everyone else I'd advice go down and check the real thing instead! its loud!
it on till 23nd of Nov and the ICA is free admission now!
